Chapter 0: Prologue

Dreams.

The random playback of memories or information stored in the brain during sleep.

Generally, people dream based on their experiences in daily life.

Facts that were particularly memorable or shocking are more likely to appear.

However, some scholars also argue that past memories, ……or something from the future, unconsciously manifests in dreams.

‘To be honest, I think that’s utter nonsense.’

“No, I’m telling you, you and I were angels serving the Lord!”

One claims that she and I were angels serving God together, only to be punished and become human.

“You died because of my shortcomings. ……This time will be different.”

Another is under the delusion that we were lovers and she regressed in time after I sacrificed myself for her.

“The empire was able to function thanks to you… I did not realize it myself. It was only after casting you out and losing everything that I finally understood.”

And another one says the strangest thing—that she abandoned me in some unheard-of future, only to realize my importance.

Apparently, these great women, who didn’t even know a person like me existed, have had dreams featuring me.

……What in the world is going on?
